The Challenge
Utilising the Escape equipment and Move It programming is vital in the membership offer. Teeside Active works with many apprentices who gain valuable experience working with members while on their own journey. This means there is an excellent opportunity to engage and develop the younger representatives of the team.
The Solution
Excelsior designed a programme to improve customer service and communication skills on the gym floor. All this was completed while embedding the skills needed to execute upon the programming.
The Result
A significant emphasis was placed on developing the team’s communication skills, encouraging them to speak more comfortably with members. This specialist gym floor-based training raised the team’s confidence and, as such, enhanced the customer experience being delivered.
