Excelsior Partner, Keith Smith was a featured contributor in the European Active Boutique Report 2018.
The report talks about how Boutique fitness studios have an average retention rate of up to 75%, compared with 50% for traditional fitness clubs, according to EuropeActive’s Retention report 2018.
Guided by the following question, the report focusses on:
‘which strategies do boutique studios worldwide use to increase customer engagement?’
Keith’s contribution to the report was based around ‘Ensuring a return on investment from staff education, training and development’.
Best in class talent and programming were unanimously agreed as the top two retention strategies by owners and managers of boutique studios.
The report also states that ‘Boutique business owners and key staff should get professional support in setting up progressive internal training curriculums, to support the mindful growth of skillset and mindset.”
We couldn’t have put it better ourselves 🙂
