Following on from a restructure David Lloyd Leisure (DLL) required an onboarding process that equipped their new Personal Trainers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
With a focus on the clients’ journey, trainers were no longer tasked with sales, instead they were required to provide a structured, interactive 45 minutes of outstanding training to their clients.
Excelsior supported David Lloyd Leisure by composing bespoke detailed aims and outcomes, timetable and learning resources, which ensured each learner finished the two days training confident on how a DLL trainer behaves, engages, and interacts with clients.
David Lloyd Leisure now has an established Personal Trainer 2 Day Induction Workshop that is delivered at multiple sites across the UK every month.
The course focuses on ensuring PT’s leave with the confidence to be a rockstar around the club and the skills to deliver outstanding personal trainer experiences to their clients.
