The Challenge
As our sales team both grows and diversifies we are in constant need of up to date information on both the fitness industry and the products we sell.
In recent years we have focused our strategy on selling more product from the Life Fitness family of brands and therefore need to better know both the product and how to position it in the Danish market space.
The Solution
Excelsior was tasked with creating two days of product and sales education that would challenge the sales teams on their product knowledge, improving their ability to position and sell the product to customers.
We requested the two days be interactive, moving the learners from their comfort zone, whilst being both theoretical and practical in nature.
The Result
At the end of the two days the teams felt they had a much deeper understanding of the product and how to convey the Life Fitness story.
We now truly embrace the significant heritage behind the brands, are now able to explain the Life Fitness experience and show how this enhances our customers businesses.
I have personally known Chris since 2012, from when he was delivering sales and product training for Cybex. Since then I have travelled to the USA and UK with Chris and have had him come deliver both to our sales teams and customers.
In recent years, we have had both Chris and Keith join us in Denmark and supported up-skilling our teams on the Life Fitness family of brands.
Whenever Chris or Keith deliver we find their presentations engaging, enlightening and focused on making ourselves and/or our customers more successful.
They always provide great insight into what is happening within the industry and seek to create a learning environment where we understand both the context and application of the content delivered.
